The book is described by the author as the cultural theories on the dissolution and unification of the recorded history The book features bundles of essays, chronicles, the 3rd manifesto of surrealism, the album analysis and a number of cinematographic maps and images. KiNo's cartography of his own state of mind is charted in the creative elements of image and sound [the kinetic twin] before the interception of language. This pure perception of the emotionality of objects results in his deconstructive and self-reflexive language defining the ethics of his poetics as a system of subjectivitisation of the universe and vice versa. This ideal forms the linkage of the record and the film aiming to achieve a pure meta-language to represent the human condition of reality and what can be known of it. This work is due to an existential need to evince and establish the Revolution of the Mind in order to help educate children with the emotional intelligence nurtured by this meta-language. . . MAP OF THE UNIVERSE - THE BOOK by 9 Above, the pages show how I started the book. Half of the content, theories and expository literature comes from my years of writing/thinking. Added on top is the framework of the album, the idea how this theory translates to practise.
An excerpt from the manuscript: "...Let me begin asserting the immaculate conception of this particular mind whose vested miracle conveys you the reason in a spirit that has no illusions. In all the possibilities of expression available to man, I am gifted with the ability to not only analysing but also configuring and uniting the paths to the liberation of the mind from the restraints of forms, structures and patterns that has become the pillars of history to dumbfound an already amnesiac civilisation. In order to communicate and in doing this also recalling the most righteous memory of man like myself reduced to abstraction, I realise that I must reinforce the already discovered superlanguage composite of image, sound and word. I was tought of this by two extraordinary men: Andre Breton and Jean Luc Godard. The mind enables us to pass from one object to the other; convert everything to ideas. A human being is a prism that fractures the universal reality into the disparate microcosms of language and fantasy..." . Why the MAP OF THE UNIVERSE? I would like to symbolise the entire human race as an individual: you - a man or woman. Then, I ask you to define an object in relation to your form and senses; a matter that is created by you because it is the extension of your form, because it serves you. Think of the fork as the object. Let's visualise this on a physical plane, instead of holding you in the world, let us place you and the fork in your hand in space. Once you understand the relationship between that object and yourself, it's origin and function, you can exchange the fork to an electric guitar, an object to a concept, for instance rock'n roll. But, before it signifies rock'n roll, a guitar is merely a musical instrument. You are effectively zooming out from the particular to the general: you would dig for its history until you grasp the truth about music, looking for the origin of that electric guitar. You will understand what does exactly rock'n roll mean, you can tell Jimi Hendrix from Lemmy Crapvitz, because you will have mapped the concept of music and its genuine expresser. The faculty of this automatic process of analysis is called the emotional intelligence. . |
